File contents are processed in your browser. This notice describes the website services and storage separately. Updated 4 October 2026.

Files and generated copies

Images, PDFs, form values and recognized text are processed in browser memory. FileFix does not upload them to a processing server. The active workspace is not saved by FileFix when you close the page. Downloaded files remain in the folder you choose; your browser or operating system may keep its own download history or backups.

Preferences on this device

The interface language and requirement presets are stored in local storage for this website address. Presets can include the names you choose and image requirements. Delete individual presets in the tool or clear this site’s data in browser settings. Moving to another domain does not automatically transfer these preferences.

Hosting and essential requests

Cloudflare hosts this site. Requests for pages, application code, self-hosted fonts, OCR models and samples include standard connection details such as IP address, requested URL and browser headers. Cloudflare may process request logs for delivery, reliability and security. Do not place private information in page URLs. FileFix does not control your browser’s network caches or Cloudflare’s infrastructure retention.

Advertising and measurement today

Google ads and external analytics are disabled. FileFix does not currently load advertising or analytics scripts, set advertising cookies or send tool-use events to an analytics provider. Preparing or downloading a document does not send its contents, filename or entered text to an advertiser.

If advertising is introduced

Before enabling ads or external measurement, we will update this notice to identify the actual providers, data uses and applicable choices. Ads are planned only for reviewed public reference content. File workspaces, file previews, downloads and exported documents are excluded. Required consent controls must be available before relevant advertising or measurement requests begin.

External links and your choices

Opening an external source or license link takes you to another site with its own privacy practices. You can use the file tools without an account. Only open files you are authorized to process, review generated results, and use the Help page for troubleshooting.
